Dear Friends
As many of you know, we lost a big man this week. It has been unimaginably hard but has also been an honour, a grateful process of togetherness to grieve for someone so beautiful. Our circles have united all over the globe x

Unfortunately we won't be going to Australia, I'm so very sorry. I know you can understand that after chasing all options: add dates at the end, go and come back, leave straight after his funeral, postpone... the timing simply says no at all angles and we just have to cancel the tour.

It's very important to thank my team in Karakter and our Australian colleagues (especially the whole team of @troubadourpresents ) who have worked extensively under pressure, and grief, these last months and especially this week with a 12 hour difference, over the holidays, so I will never forget it.
In well over a thousand concerts I have only cancelled three - this is not easy, especially to our colleagues whom we JUST started working together with, so thank you for your kindness.

Tracey, Aidan and I were so excited to go. And since the news, we bolstered ourselves to leave tomorrow and celebrate Kevin through song, with you, in the land he lived in and see the places he saw, meet the people he met. Now is the time to be here for Kevin, his family and be present in his "immortality of song" as the big man says.

Thank you so much to you who bought tickets, your ticket provider will be in touch about rescheduling. Hold onto them.
